『... 其地無牛馬虎豹羊鵲. - 그 땅에 소와 말, 호랑이, 돼지, 양, 까치가 없다.』삼국지위지왜전(三國志魏志倭傳) 中
가야인들이 한반도에서 자취를 감춘 후, 말(馬)이 없었다는 일본의 고분에서 말과 관련된 유물들이 쏟아져 나온다. 가장 주목할 것은 일본 최대의 전방후원분(前方後圓墳)인 닌토쿠(仁德) 천황의 능에서 출토된 유물이다. 현재 보스턴 박물관에 보관되어 있는 이 유물들은 마탁과 삼환령 등 전형적인 북방계 기마민족의 유물이다.
이것은 천황가가 북방계와 관련이 있음을 암시한다.
당시 일본에 기마문화를 가지고 간 것은 바로 가야인. 천황가와 가야인의 관계가 밝혀진다.

After the Kaya have been left behind on the Korean Peninsula, horse-related artifacts are pouring out from the Japanese burial mound where there are no horses. Most noteworthy is the relics excavated from the power of Emperor Nintoku, Japan's largest forward-backed mound. These artifacts, which are now housed in the Boston Museum, are a relic of the typical northern aristocracy, such as the Martak and the Three Senses.
This implies that the Emperor is related to the Northern Kingdom.
It was the gaya that took the horse culture at that time in Japan. The relationship between the Emperor and the Gaya is revealed.
