충남에 있는 70여개 정도의 섬 중 안면도 다음으로 큰 섬. 산을 닮은 형태를 하고 있어 원산도라 불린다.
보령시에서 서쪽으로 11㎞ 지점에 위치하며, 부근에 효자도·안면도 등이 있다.
원산도 해수욕장은 고운 모래질과 완만한 경사도, 그리고 깨끗한 수질과 적당한 수온으로 한번 찾은 이들이 두고두고 되찾는 곳이다.
대부분의 해변이 백사장으로 이루어져 있으며 모래가 밀가루처럼 고와 여름에 해수욕을 하기 위한 사람으로 인산인해를 이루는 곳. 지금 원산도로 함께 떠나보자.

Island that resembles Boryeong Mountain in Chungcheongnam-do
It is the next largest island of Anseong Island among about 70 islands in Chungnam. It resembles a mountain and is called Wonsando.
It is located 11km to the west of Boryeong-si, and there are Hyoja Island and Anmyeondo Island in the vicinity.
Wonsan-do Beach is a place where people go once and find a place with fine sand, gentle slope, clean water quality and moderate water temperature.
Most of the beaches are made up of white sand, where the sand is flour-like and the person who is bathing in the summer makes salt. Let's leave it together with Wonsan-do.
