청산도는 영화 <서편제> 촬영지로 유명한데 그만큼 섬 풍광이 단아하면서도 아름답다.
그 곳에서 펼쳐지는 농악대의 노래는 여행객들의 흥을 더한다.
또한 청산도는 많은 어종이 잡히는 곳.
특히 멸치가 맛이 좋기로 유명한 섬이다.
갓 잡은 멸치를 회로도 먹고 데쳐먹고 말려먹는 바다의 맛에 흠뻑 젖을 수 있는 시간!
그리고 느림의 미학이 있는 곳이다 보니 초분, 구들장 논 등 옛 전통의 방법 그대로 살고 있기도 하다.
느릿느릿 천천히 자연의 풍요로움을 느끼며 옛사람들의 생각을 알 수 있는 곳.
