부안군 변산면 격포리 일대 총 부지 148,400m²의 대규모로 이루어진 민속촌과 영상촬영단지로 웅장함을 자랑하며 여행자들에 사랑을 받고있다.
역사적인 고증을 철저히 거쳐 왕궁을 재현하였으며, 기와촌, 평민촌, 저자거리, 방목장, 연못, 성곽 등을 건립하여 MBC 드라마 “정조 이산”은 물론 영화 “왕의 남자” “황진이” “궁녀” 등의 주요 촬영지로 사용 됐다.
경복궁 창덕궁은 물론 양반가와 평민가 등의 조선생활을 한 곳에서 보고 체험해 볼 수 있는 테마파크. 말 타고 활쏘기 체험은 물론 드라마와 역사 속 주인공이 되어 생생한 역사체험을 경험할 수 있다.
