섬진강 상류, 전북 정읍시과 임실군에 걸쳐 있는 인공호수.
가을에 큰 기온차 때문에 피어오르는 새벽 물안개, 자연의 비경을 즐길 수 있는 명소로 꼽힌다.
임실군에 있는 국사봉 전망대에서 옥정호를 바라보면 붕어섬과 물안개가 장관을 이뤄낸다.

Ok Jung Ho
Jeongeup-si, Jeonbuk Province
It is an artificial lake that spans the upper reaches of the Seomjin River, Jeongeup-eup Jeonbuk and Imsil gun.
It is considered as a place where you can enjoy the fog of the dawn rising in the autumn due to the great temperature difference, and the unexplored nature.
Looking at Okjung-ho from the Kuksabong Observation Deck in Imsilgun-gun, Kumjae Island and water fog are spectacular.
