전국 최초 습지보호지역으로 지정된 무안 갯벌. 220km의 긴 리아스식 해안으로 이루어진 천혜의 자연경관과 풍부한 수산자원을 자랑하고 있다.
다양한 생물들은 물론 환경부 보호대상 종인 알락꼬리도요와 흰목물떼새 등이 출현하는 것으로 알려지면서 많은 사람들의 이목이 집중되고 있다.
일반 탐방은 물론 특별히 생태체험프로그램을 운영하고 있어 갯벌에 대해서 귀로 듣고 눈으로 보고 직접 몸으로 느껴 볼 수 있는 즐거운 시간이 될 것이다

Muan tidal flats designated as the first wetland protection area in the nation. It boasts a breathtaking natural landscape of 220 km long rias coast and abundant fishery resources.
Many species are attracting attention as it is known that various species of creatures, as well as endangered species such as Alacacheroido and White-pheasant, are protected by the Ministry of Environment.
It is an enjoyable time for you to listen to your ears about the tidal flats and feel yourself by seeing them through your eyes.
