동남아시아 여러 나라 중에서도 미얀마는 특히 생경하다.
미얀마의 버간 유적은 세계 3대 불교유적 중의 하나로 그 화려함과 웅장함, 정교함에 비해 국내 시청자들에겐 잘 알려져 있지 않다.
지금은 세계에서 가장 가난한 나라 중의 하나인 미얀마.
과연 1000년 전 세워진 금빛 불탑들은 어떤 역사를 이야기 하는가?
버간 유적의 아름다움, 신비로움과 함께하는 두 번째 <역사기행> 칭기즈칸의 침입에 코끼리 부대로 맞섰던 미얀마의 후예들을 만난다.
가로 세로 7Km, 2000여 개의 불탑이 각각 다른 양식으로 조성된 신비의 버건유적

Among the Southeast Asian countries, Myanmar is especially beautiful.
The Burmese ruins in Myanmar are one of the three most important Buddhist monuments in the world, and are less well known to domestic viewers than their splendor, grandeur and sophistication.
Myanmar is now one of the poorest countries in the world.
What history does the golden pagodas built 1000 years ago tell?
