대부분의 알래스카 연안 도시들처럼 , 발데즈의 중심부 역시 항구를 따라 형성되어 있습니다 . 중심부의 보행자 도로는 주변 산들과미네럴 크릭 캐년으로 이어집니다 . 메인 스트리트에 버금가는 거리인 이건 드라이브는 북쪽으로 리처드슨 하이웨이 및 톰슨 패스와만납니다 . 도심 번화가에는 레스토랑 , 숙박시설 , 박물관을 비롯해 프린스 윌리엄 해협 대학 모여 있습니다 . 도심의 해협을 통과하는 알래스카 횡단 송유관 터미널에는 탱크 별로 9 백만 배럴의 석유가 저장되어 있습니다

United States Alaska Valdez Area Information
Located in the heart of Prince William Strait, Valdez is a picturesque city surrounded by the world's tallest coastal mountains and has 4,498 inhabitants.
Local information
Not only is it well known as the southernmost point of the Alaska oil pipeline, it is also a top tourist destination for travelers. Valdez is located on the north side of Valdez Harbor, inside a dented fiord, 488 km east of Anchorage and 582.4 km south of Fairbanks.
Like most Alaska coastal cities, the center of Valdez is also built along the harbor. The pedestrian road in the center leads to the surrounding mountains and Mineral Creek Canyon. This drive, which is the main street, meets North Richardson Highway and Thompson Pass. Downtown downtown area is full of restaurants, accommodations, museums and Prince William Strait college. 9 million barrels of oil per tank are stored at the Alaska Transit Pipeline Terminal through the city's straits
