파형동기의 회전하는 갈고리 모양의 기원은 조개
서태평양과 인도양의 열대역에 넓게 분포하는 스이지가이.
오키나와 제도나 사키시마 열도에서는, 선사시대 때부터 장식품으로 이용되었던 조개다.
화재를 없애는 부적으로 집의 현관이나 축사에 매다는 풍습이 있었을 정도로 이 조개는 신성한 의미를 지니고 있었다. 그런데 파형동기가 이 스이지가이의 모양을 본땄다고 한다.
조개는 고대에 빠뜨릴 수 없는 교역품이자 가공품.
규슈에서 오키나와로 이어지는 조개의 길을 따라 추적은 계속된다!

Suigi Gai is widely distributed in the thermal zone of the Western Pacific and Indian Oceans.
Okinawa is a shellfish that has been used as an ornament since the prehistoric age in the Ishikawa Islands.
This clam had a sacred meaning so that there was a tradition of hanging on the porch or stall of the house as a charm to remove the fire. However, the waveform motive is based on the appearance of this gage.
Shellfish is an indispensable trader and an artifact.
