얼마 전 끝난 드라마 <뉴하트>
이 드라마 속에서 독특한 행동으로 눈길을 끄는 이가 하나 있었는데~
외국에 떨어져 있는 가족과 해골 가족사진을 찍고, 환자들의 엑스레이 영상 속에서 하트 무늬를 찾아내는 별난 의사, 김영희 교수!
그의 실제 모델은 영동세브란스병원 영상의학과 정태섭 교수다.
그의 연구실은 만물상을 방불케 한다.
각종 X레이 사진들과 고지도, 화폐를 넣은 액자...각종 기계장치와 현미경, 천체망원경 등이 널려 있다.
수집가, 사진작가, 발명가, 별밤축제 플래너...별명만 해도 수십 개에 달하는 그는 남다른 취미생활로 별난 인생을 사는 별난 의사다.
게다가 얼마 전엔 X-선 사진작품으로 첫 개인전까지 열고 당당히 예술가로서의 이름을 알렸다.
그가 이렇게 다양한 도전을 할 수 있었던 것은 어린 시절부터 아버지에게서 배운 다빈치식 사고 때문이었다.
레오나르도 다빈치처럼 인문, 과학, 예술 등 다방면의 교육을 받아 지금에 이르게 된 그는 자라나는 아이들이한 분야에만 전문적으로 파고드는 티자형 인간보다 여러 분야를 두루 섭렵하는 파이형 인간이 되어야 한다고 주장한다.
