바다는 언제나 봄이 돌아온 것을 한 발 먼저 알고 있다. 그리고 바다에 가득해진 그 봄빛을 남해의 어부들은 한 번도 놓친 적이 없다.
유자망, 안강망, 연안들망, 낭장망, 권현망 등 30가지가 넘는 다양한 방식으로 멸치를 잡는 배들이 남해바다로 나가는 시간.
봄날의 미조항은 온통 은빛 비늘을 뒤집어쓴 어부들의 멸치털이 작업으로 활기가 넘친다.
하지만 같은 남해라도 지족해협에서 만나는 멸치잡이는 전혀 다른 풍경이다.
어군탐지기를 설치하고, 대형 그물을 펼치며 멸치떼를 쫓아가는 어선들 대신 그 바다에 있는 것은 대나무로 엮은 발을 바다에 세워 둔 죽방렴(竹防簾). 멸치 또한 아무 때나 잡을 수 있는 것이 아니어서 죽방렴 어부는 하루에 두 번 썰물 때를 기다려 작은 목선을 타고 바다로 간다.
하루의 8할이 기다림인 시간의 그물이 죽방렴인 것이다.

The net of blooming time in the South Sea of Gyeongnam
The sea always knows that spring is back. And the spring of the sea filled with fish has never missed the fishermen of the South Sea.
It is time for ships that catch anchovy in more than 30 different ways including gooseneck, gangmang, coastal gang, gangnanggang, and kwonhyeon net go to the sea of the South Sea.
Springtime mizuho port is full of vitality with the work of anchovy hairs of fishermen who turned over silver scales all over.
However, the anchovy that meets in the Ji Strait even in the same South Sea is a totally different landscape.
Instead of fishing boats that set up fish finders, spread a large net, and pursue anchovies, bamboo bamboo sticks, which have their feet woven with bamboo in the sea. Anchovy is not something you can catch at any time. A bloody fisherman waits for ebb tide twice a day and goes to the sea on a small line.
The net of time, which is the waiting time of 80% of the day, is bamboo.
