우리나라 광고 소리의 대부분을 창조해 낸 ‘광고 소리의 대부’ 김벌래!
그 유명한 만화영화 '로봇 태권브이' 음향 작업을 진행했고 88서울올림픽, 2002월드컵 등 많은 대형 이벤트에서 사운드 연출과 제작을 도맡으며 우리의 소리를 세계인에게 널리 알린 그는 40여 년 동안 2만여 가지의 소리를 만들었다.
일을 시작할 때 “자, 일을 시작하자”가 아니라 “자, 지금부터 실패를 시작하자”로 시작하는 김벌래.
그 역시 수많은 실패와 좌절을 거듭했다.
게다가 소아마비 장애를 가지고 있는 어머니...
고졸 학력으로 인한 차별과 멸시...
2002년 찾아온 청각장애...
고난과 실패는 항상 그를 힘들게 하지만, 그럴 때마다 더 ‘신나게’ 일함으로써 지금의 자리에 이르렀다.
‘실패란 넘어져 깨진 것이 아니라 넘어진 자리에 잠깐 머문 것일 뿐이다.’라고 말하는 김벌래... ‘늘 신나는 김벌래’의 인생철학을 들어본다.
