봄이 되면 대관령은 감자밭으로 변한다. 1961년 씨감자 생산을 최초로 시작한 씨감자의 고향 대관령에선 밭일을 하는 아낙들의 손이 바쁘다.
녹음이 짙어진 들판으로 동물들이 찾아오고, 초록의 구릉지에선 야생화 잔치가 펼쳐진다. 8~9월, 안개 낀 안반데기에선 배추를 심는 작업이 시작된다.
여름에도 선선해 휴가철이 되면 사람들의 피서지로 사랑받는 대관령의 기후는 고랭지 채소를 재배하기에 적합한 천혜의 조건으로, 고랭지 농업은 지역민들의 삶의 토대가 되었다.
우리나라 씨감자의 원종지며, 고랭지 채소 재배의 상징인 대관령.. 서릿발에 꽁꽁 얼은 덕장의 황태는 우리의 얼굴이고, 고원의 씨감자는 자연이 아낌없이 주는 밥상이다.

The Land of Snow and Wind
In spring, Daegwallyeong turns into a potato field. In 1961, Daegwanryeong's home town of Seigujin, which started producing seed potatoes for the first time,
Animals come to the fields with thickened recordings, and wildflowers are held in green hills. From August to September, when the foggy Anbang is built, the work of planting cabbage starts.
Daegwallyeong, which is loved by the people as a summer resort, is a good condition for cultivating highland vegetables, and highland farming has become the foundation of local people's life.
Daegwanryeong, a symbol of the cultivation of highland vegetable, is the seed of the seed potatoes of Korea. It is the face of Daegang who is free from frost, and the seed of the plateau is the food table which nature gives generously.
We meet exciting images of Daegwallyeong in the highlands that we have been observing for a long time.
