산 속에 사람이 만든 습지, 다랑논은 생명의 각축장이다.
논 속의 올챙이들은 지렁이를 먹고 그 올챙이들은 도롱뇽 새끼와 물방개 애벌레에게 잡아먹힌다. 물 밖에선 때까치와 올빼미가 도마뱀과 곤충들을 노린다.
때까치는 둥지 앞에 사냥한 먹잇감을 꽂아두는 습성을 가지고 있다.
다랑논 돌 틈엔 쥐들이 살고 있다. 이들을 노리는 것은 뱀이다.
산비탈 비좁은 논은 그들에겐 유일한 우주이며, 치열한 삶의 현장이다.

Jirisan's Daring Life
A wetland created by man in the mountains, Darangnon is the life axis of life.
The tadpoles in the rice paddies eat earthworms and the tadpoles are eaten by salamanders and watery larvae. The ducks and owls outside the water aim at lizards and insects.
It has a habit of keeping prey hunted in front of its nest.
Rats live in the darts. It is the snake that seeks these.
The sloping rice fields are the only universe for them, and a place of fierce life.
