해녀들은 바다를 바다밭이라고 부른다. 삶의 터전으로서 땅과 바다를 분리하지 않는 독특한 관념이 반영돼 있다. 다만 바다는 씨를 뿌리지 않아도 수확을 하는 밭이다.
바다의 씨앗은 영등 할망이 바람을 타고 와 뿌린다고 여긴다.
그래서 영등굿이 지금까지 해녀들의 의식과 문화를 지배하며 이어지고 있다. 농가월령가가 있듯이 해녀들의 작업도 연중 시간표가 있다.
씨앗이 뿌려지고 나면 톳, 우뭇가사리, 미역을 채취하고, 그 밭에서 자라는 전복, 소라, 성게, 해삼, 문어를 거둬들인다.
물질을 잘하는 상군일수록 그 바다밭의 지형도를 잘 알고, 물질 방식도 채취 대상에 따라 달라진다.
암초 사이를 비집고 들어가는 성게 작업, 문어를 쫓는 해녀 등 숨 가쁘게 펼쳐지는 하도리와 위미 해녀 공동체의 바다밭 농사를 수중카메라로 정밀하게 들여다본다.

Sea field of a sea lady watched for a year What happened?
They call the sea a sea field. It reflects the unique idea of not separating the land from the sea as a place of life. But the sea is a field that harvests without sowing seeds.
The seeds of the sea consume the subduction of the wind in the wind.
So, Yeongdeunggut has continued to dominate the culture and consciousness of the women. Just as there is a farmhouse age, there is a yearly schedule for the work of the daughters.
After the seed is sowed, it takes out seaweed, mugwort, and seaweed, and collects abalone, sea urchin, sea urchin, sea cucumber, and octopus that grow in the field.
The better you are, the better you are to know the topography of the sea, and the material method will depend on what you are looking for.
We work with the underwater camera to look at the sea farming of Hadori and Imai daisies community which is breathlessly spread such as sea urchin work which goes in between the reefs, and the sea girl chasing the octopus.
