현재 내성천은 내년 3월 완공 예정인 영주댐 공사로 인해 큰 위기를 맞고 있다.
상류 부분이 수몰지역으로 지정되면서 마을 주민들이 하나둘씩 떠나고 이산서원, 괴헌고택 등 우리 문화유산의 터마저도 잃게 된 것이다.
내성천을 맑고 깨끗하게 해주던 모래의 양은 점점 줄어들고 있으며, 모래밭을 자리삼아 머무르던 생물들의 개체수도 예전만 못하다.

The Last Sandy Water The last record of the 'Golden Sand River' that will never be seen again!
Currently, the Incheon River is facing a major crisis due to the construction of the Yeongju Dam, which will be completed in March next year.
As the upper part was designated as a submerged area, the villagers left one by one, and lost the temple of our cultural heritage, such as Seosan Seonwon and Goonheon house.
The amount of sand that cleans the clear stream of the river is gradually decreasing, and the number of creatures that have stayed in the sandy field is not the same.
